Data protection
General information on the processing of your data on our website
We are pleased that you have visited our website. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We strictly adhere to the legal provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Austrian Data Protection Act in their current version. In the following, we would like to inform you comprehensively and transparently about the processing of your personal data by us as the controller. These declarations refer to the applicable legal situation. We expressly reserve the right to make changes or adjustments in the future. We therefore recommend that you read this privacy policy regularly to stay informed about the processing of your personal data. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us at the address below.
Processing and sharing of personal data on our website
For technical reasons, we collect the personal data that your browser transmits to the server. When you visit our website, we collect data that is technically necessary for the proper display of the website, ensuring stability, security, traceability in the event of errors, and sustainable troubleshooting. This data is therefore processed based on our overriding legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data concerns the following:
Websites visited, date and time of access, amount of data sent in bytes, website of the incoming request (source/reference from which you accessed the page), browser used including language and version, operating system used, IP address used.
Log files are created for this purpose. The data collected is used to monitor and prevent illegal use of the website content, to improve the website, and for statistical evaluations.
We use the free web analysis software AWSTATS to statistically evaluate visits to the website. This software evaluates the log files that web servers create based on website access. No cookies are used. Statistical analysis is carried out via the log files, which contain the IP addresses, date and time, browser type and version, computer operating system, and the website of the incoming request. The data is anonymized and stored on the server for the duration of the website's operation in the form of anonymized web access statistics. Unlike other statistics programs, the web analysis software AWSTATS does not use cookies and does not transmit any data to an external server. The software is installed on the servers provided by our IT service provider. If the website is deleted from these servers, the anonymized data from the web analysis software is also automatically deleted.
Cookie usage
This website uses transient cookies: these are automatically deleted when you close your browser or log out. These include, in particular, session cookies, which store a so-called session ID, which allows various browser requests to be assigned to the shared session. This allows your device/computer to be recognized when you access the website again. These cookies are necessary for logins, for example. We do not store any personal data in cookies.
To control how you use cookies (even when you use our website), you can adjust your browser settings. For example, you can refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. However, this may also impair the functionality of the website.
Data security
We take all necessary and appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the data collected during the use of our website from loss and misuse. Your data is stored in a secure, state-of-the-art operating environment. Access to our website is also secured via HTTPS if your browser supports SSL. This means that the communication between your device and the servers is encrypted.
Rights of data subjects / Your rights to the protection of your personal data
You have a number of rights with regard to your personal data processed by us. You can exercise all of these rights free of charge and informally (by email, telephone, or mail), if necessary after providing proof of identity, at the address provided below. Your rights in detail:
Right to information: You can request information about the data we process at any time without any formalities. In this case, we will inform you in writing about what data we have stored about you, for what purposes we use it, to which categories of recipients we share it, and how long we intend to store it. We will comply with your request for information promptly, but no later than within one month.
Right to erasure: You have the right to request the erasure of your data processed by us at any time, without providing a formal request. We will comply with this request if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, if you revoke any existing consent, in the event of unlawful data processing, or if erasure is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation.
Right to rectification: If we mistakenly process incorrect or incomplete data about you, we will, of course, correct it. An informal request addressed to us is sufficient.
Right to restriction of processing: If the deletion of your data is not possible or you do not wish this, but you do not agree to any use beyond the storage of the data, we are obliged to restrict the further processing of your personal data at your request.
Right to data portability: Upon your informal request, we will provide you with the data we have stored about you, which we have received under a contract or based on your consent, free of charge in a common file format. You can use this data for your own purposes and pass it on to future contractual partners. If you wish and it is technically feasible, we will also transfer your data directly to a recipient named by you. In this case, we will inform you after the transfer has been completed. We will comply with your request promptly, but no later than within one month.
Right to object: In certain cases, the General Data Protection Regulation also gives you the right to object to the further processing of your data. Since we currently do not carry out any data processing activities within our company for which you have the right to object, we refer you to your right to erasure or restriction of processing (see above).
Right to complain
The EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Austrian Data Protection Act guarantee you the aforementioned data protection rights. If you believe that one of these rights has been violated by our company, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Austria, the responsible authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna. Claims against us that you may have under other legal grounds remain unaffected.
